Select A Daycare With Care

Childcare that matters

When my spouse and I began having kids it was impossible for one of us to quit work to stay at home with them. We had actually constantly hoped to remain in a position financially where among us could support the family while the other one did the essential task of raising our kids for the very first couple of years of their lives until they entered school. So, sadly, when children came around and our financial resources just weren’t at the level we had actually hoped, we started our look for the ideal daycare setting for our young children.

I am a firm believer that a daycare, when chosen carefully, can be a great location for kids to spend their first few years of life. Before my wife and I began our search for the best place for our kids, we took a seat and made a list of things we wouldn’t compromise on when it pertained to the childcare our kids attended. I ‘d motivate all moms and dads who are considering childcare for their youngsters to do the same.

By sitting down together and listing our priorities, we were able to begin our search with a better photo of the type of day care we were looking for. We knew that we wanted our children to be in a safe, healthy environment where they would be looked after well and encouraged to build relationships with other kids and to learn new things. We insisted that our daycare was smoke free and we looked for a daycare that gave the youngsters many opportunities each week to get outdoors and enjoy playgrounds or other fun events for children.

Take your time and be intentional with choosing a childcare for your kids. If you are unable to care for your children in the earliest years of their lives, in some ways by choosing a daycare program you are choosing a substitute parent for your kids. You can not afford to make the decision about daycare lightly because I guarentee your kids will be shaped and formed by the day care they go to.

My other half and I settled on a small, personal childcare that was run by one woman out of her home. Our daycare provider had a clean house that was filled with a variety of educational toys for kids of all ages. We were happy that her childcare service prioritized feeding our youngsters healthy foods and helping them have a healthy, active way of living right from the beginning.

Determine your priorities for childcare and then stick with them, because choosing a daycare for your kids is one of the most important choices you can produce them.

We firmly insisted that our daycare was smoke complimentary and we looked for a daycare that gave the youngsters numerous opportunities each week to get outdoors and delight in playgrounds or other enjoyable occasions for children.

When we moved to Portland we really wanted to find the best childcare we could there too.  Some friends recommended My Bundle of Joy.  They really are the best Portland day care we interviewed.

We highly recommend them.
